1979 Schleich Peyo Discus Thrower Olympic Super Smurf In Box Germany

This Super Smurf Discus Thrower is nice with light wear and it comes from a smoke free home. The box has a bit of wear/creasing as shown but is still neat for display. Where the Olympic rings are on the box, it looks they were blacked out and someone cleaned some of it off. 

I am pretty sure the blackening was done at the factory because I have seen other Olympic Smurfs with this exact same thing done. I can't seen to find a reason behind it, but I'm guessing they were using the Olympic rings symbol without permission and got a cease and desist over it.

This is a German version so the box has German printing on it. It says Olympia Schlumpf on the front and Olympischer Super-Schlumpf Printed In Germany on the bottom.

This is a very unusual find and will be a great addition to your Smurf collection! It is certainly not every day you find one of these!
